College & Career Success
Upon graduation from high school, BHGH continues supporting Scholars through personalized mentorship and guidance throughout their post-secondary years and into the launch of their career.
Scholars are paired with a Career and Life Coach (CLC), a highly trained BHGH staff member dedicated to their ongoing success. Scholars and CLCs communicate monthly – either in person or over the phone – to provide academic and personal updates, review SMART Goals, and discuss how to navigate potential barriers. On top of individualized coaching, eligible scholars can apply for “last-dollar” scholarship support to promote college affordability.
