Each Residential Counselor is responsible for working with a team of professionals and volunteers to produce an environment of achievement while meeting the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of each Scholar in their care. Residential Counselors also serve as primary case managers for 3-4 Scholars-in-residence through which they teach social and independent living skills, expose the youth to new experiences and activities, and guide youth in college readiness toward educational success. The Program Operations Assistant at Boys Hope Girls Hope is a part-time position designed to support the mission and values of Boys Hope Girls Hope (BHGH) through support of all “program related” operational systems including but not limited to support of the agency in the areas of participant transportation, facility maintenance/housekeeping, inventory management and food service. The Assistant Director of Academy Programs plays a critical role in managing all aspects of the year-round, out-of-school time youth-development programs focused on our 150+ high-possibility 6th-12th grade Academy Scholars. This full-time role reports to the Director of Academy Programs includes opportunities to support design, implementation and management of all aspects of our unique Academy Program. BHGH is actively seeking an experienced development professional to lead and oversee all aspects of the organization’s development work including donor engagement, major gifts, special events, annual fund, marketing and communication. As a member of the agency leadership team, the Director of Development and Major Gifts will play a critical role in the long-range success of BHGH by increasing our overall fundraising and communications capacity, expand and diversify BHGH’s base of support, and increase awareness of our work.
